Spanish Culture in English & Introduction to Spanish language

This course, taught in English, is addressed to international students who have never studied Spanish before but are interested in the Spanish Culture. It aims to give the students a general, realistic and practical overview of Spanish culture.

The course will also give them the opportunity to achieve basic skills to communicate in Spanish, the second most spoken language in the world.

7. Stereotypes of the Spanish Population
8. Ways of living and behaviour (role-plays)
9. Spanish gastronomy, gastronomy in La Rioja
10. Festivities, religion and traditions
11. Education
12. Art and art in La Rioja (treasures of Spanish Patrimony)
13. Tourism (Practical guided visit around the city, visit to Würth Museum, visit to La Rioja Museum, visit to a school with Roman ruins).
