Terms and conditions

General conditions

The foundation of the University of La Rioja reserves the right to cancel or modify the courses which do not have a minimum number of students.

The minimum age for participating in these courses is 18 (or 17 if the student is to be 18 during that year)
80% of attendance is compulsory to obtain a Diploma

Cancellation and refund policies

Any student who is unable to attend a course after paying the tuition fee, will be entitled to the following reimbursement:

  • 50% if the cancellation is made 30 days before the course starts.
  • 20% if the cancellation is made from 7 to 30 days before the course starts.
  • There will be no refund if cancellation is made one week before the course starts.

All cancellations must be made in writing before the start of the course.

Visa refusal: If the application for the visa is refused by the Spanish Consulate or Embassy, the tuition fee will be reimbursed, except 150€ for administrative costs plus any expenses incurred during the process (shipping costs, etc). Students must send to the Foundation of the University of La Rioja the refusal letter of the Spanish Consulate where causes and reasons are stated.

It will be possible to change dates just once, requesting it in writing before the course starts. It will be necessary to attach a payment receipt of 50€.

In no case the tuition fee will be refunded if cancellation is made after the deadlines laid down.

In case of failure to accomplish the center rules of conduct, the organization may cancel the enrolment without reimbursement of fees.
